Playing the Wii

Today part of our entertainment was playing on the Wii.  The kids always have fun with the interaction but have a hard time taking turns.

Daddy, Jacob & Hannah headed to the park this afternoon while Ellie and Mommy were taking a break.  Here are some fun pictures of their adventures.

Travel Day: From Idaho to Washington

We LOVED our few days with the Lukes.  We are going to miss them bunches and bunches.  Thanks for a great time Grandma & Grandpa!

The Craters of the Moon

 We made it to Washington!  We are entertaining ourselves with cameras.

This morning we woke up early in Idaho and ended up late in Washington.  On the way we saw the Craters of the Moon.  There is lots of lava rock and the kids thought it was really neat looking.  It was cold and windy though, so we got back in the car quick to continue on our journey.

St. Jacob's Day

  

Today was St. Patrick's Day.  I couldn't find anything for Jacob to wear that was green except for this mustache.  He was thrilled to wear it to church and everyone got a big kick out of him.  Jacob is also into crossing his eyes, which he thinks is pretty funny.  It's getting tough to catch pictures of him without them crossed!

Reta asked Brent and me to sing in their sacrament meeting.  We enjoyed that and the spirit was very strong today.  Since we are in Idaho we also spent the evening with the Ian Luke Family.  We had an enjoyable dinner and evening catching up with them.

THe Luke's House

We made it to the Luke's house for the first half of our spring break!  The kids have had a great time playing with cousins, playing outside and going for walks, and catching up with Grandpa & Grandma Luke.  

Ellie was checking out Grandma's treasures.  I watched her sit there like this for quite a while.  She was sure fascinated with something in there!

  

Tonight was the ward variety show.  One of the acts wore these beards and there was one left over that Jacob was having a great time with.

Jacob got to shoot his first gun today!  Grandpa pulled out a bee-bee gun let Jacob practice shooting.  He LOVED it!

Horsey Rides

 One of our favorite activities is to ride on the horse at King Sooper's after Mommy's shopping trip.  It is only 1 penny and the kids love to put the penny's in and ride for a minute or so.  They usually go and do this while I am checking out.
