It's Christmas Day! Santa definitely made it to our house this year. The kids were so excited, but patiently waited for Grandpa & Grandma Powell to drive up from Colorado Springs before opening presents. They arrived at 9, we ate a quick breakfast and then dug in to the presents! A big part of our presents this year was a trampoline! Grandpa & Grandma Powell's contribution helped us to purchase that.
We spent the day playing with toys, taking naps, going for a walk, snacking on treats and food, and having fun discovering our new toys. Grandpa & Grandma left around 5 so that they could get home. Merry Christmas!
Jacob was excited to find out what this present turned out to be. What a fun shape! It was his Hex Bug holder.
Brent with his presents: a book of unusual knowledge, a Bazinga (Big Bang Theory) t-shirt, Captain America, the two Sherlock Holmes movies.
Jacob with his presents: A Hex Bug city with 8 Hex Bugs, a case & batteries, a rocket launcher, walkie talkies, a Hulk night light, a belt, shark slippers
Hannah got the loot! She received slippers, tights, a spirograph with pens, a cursive notebook, a card making kit, a scripture case, hair chalk, and a rainbow loom with all of the accessories.
Ellie received a laptop, a hello kitty night light, a hello kitty coloring set, hello kitty slippers, a magnetic princess set, a hello kitty umbrella, and 3 sticker fun books. She refused to give me a nice smile, so this is what we got!
Daddy, Jacob & Ellie setting up the Hex Bugs... hours of fun!
Mom received new silverware and a duffel bag.
