I'm so glad when Daddy comes home

The kids LOVE it when Daddy walks in the door!  They don't even give him a minute to breath before jumping all over him.  He sure loves it though and I love to sit back and watch Daddy play time.

  

  

  

A "Trim"

I had to take another picture of my haircut today because I only got about 2 inches cut off and all four of the ladies that were at the salon were DYING at how much hair there was!  My hairdresser Jennifer said, "That's how much hair I get trimmed off in an entire year!"  She literally says to me every time that I get my haircut, "I forgot how much hair you have!"  It's a blessing and a curse, but I do love my hair, (sparkles and all!).

My First Love Note from Jacob

Jacob wrote his first love note for me this morning.  This is the first time that he has also sat down and sounded out words to write them out.  I was SO PROUD of him!  To make him even more amazing, I had just yelled at him a few minutes before he brought this up to me.  He stormed downstairs in a mad fuss and came up a few minutes later with this sweet note:  "JACOB LVZ MOM".  I told him that I liked his "S" and he said, "That's not an S, that's a Z!"

U.S. Navy Concert Band

Tonight we were able to go to the U.S. Navy Concert Band Concert!  We had six tickets so  Shani Crawford and Heather Bratt came with us (their husbands were both busy) and decided to bring Hannah and Jacob along.  

Tonight we had pizza for dinner and then before the show we went to TCBY for some ice cream.  Jacob ate himself into a tummy ache!  On the drive to the concert he sat in the back seat moaning.  It was pretty funny.  During the 1st half of the concert the kids were into the music, dancing, and singing.  During intermission we took a few pictures and then during the second half of the show both of the kids were wanting to go home to go to bed.  The concert was FABULOUS!  It was so fun to hear professional musicians.  The highlight for Brent and me was a Saxaphone player that played a solo that was incredible. We had a great date night with our two cute kiddos!
