Boston... Day 2

Today we walked for 8 hours through downtown Boston.  Thad & Kim were awesome and gave us a personal tour of everything.  They brought their two youngest kiddos and they did great!

We walked the "Freedom Trail" which showed a lot of the history there.  We ate lunch & dinner at Quincy Market.  It had an insane amount of food at this giant food court.  We toured the U.S.S. Constitution, a ship from the revolution.  That was Brent's highlight of the week.  We picked up a Florentine cannoli from Mike's Pastries and a few other desserts from Modern Pastry.  They were all amazing!  The Freedom Trail was amazing.  We saw Fanuel Hall, the Governors mansion, the park, Frog Pond, a cemetery from revolutionary times, etc.

On our way out of Boston we drove past the site of the bombing that happened on April 15th at the Boston Marathon.  There were lots of tributes left by people and even a memorial painted onto the road.

In the parking garage waiting to head out.

 So excited!
